Learning Modules for Museums
Technology learning modules for museums: A new module will be introduced each month with an introductory session. After the introductory webinar, technical training workshops are offered. These are nuts-and-bolts sessions. All webinars are broadcast live. Session recordings and transcripts are available on the webinar event page following the live event.

Stand-alone sessions and modules
You can watch individual sessions or get the full experience by watching the complete module. Our first ten live learning modules are focused on digital media and technology topics. Each module features an introductory session by museum professionals, followed by three technical training workshops taught by subject-matter experts.

INTRO SESSION: Get Inspired
Digital Accessibility and Inclusion
Beginner Level: This introductory session will bring together staff of small museums to share their approach to ensuring that their digital projects are accessible and inclusive of people with disabilities.

Beginner Level: The first workshop in the Digital Accessibility and Inclusion module will be an introduction to best practices for a wide range of digital projects including web and social media.

Live/Streamed Program Accessibility
Intermediate Level: The second workshop in the series focuses on how small museums can ensure that live-streamed and video programs are accessible to and inclusive of individuals of all abilities.

Accessibility in Digital Collections
Advanced Level: The final workshop goes in-depth about accessibility and digital collections. From the time an object is acquired, cataloged, entered in the database, to when and how it is published online.

Beginner Level: Seeking inspiration to tackle a live streamed event or virtual tour? In this intro session, museum staff give examples of live virtual programs, tours, and events with small budgets and basic tech tools.
