All webinars are shown on the Watch Live page on this website!

Each module includes a free, downloadable toolkit!

Get inspired and get started

Our first ten live learning modules will be focused on digital media and technology topics. Each module will feature an introductory session by museum professionals who connect topics to real-world museums with real-world budgets, followed by three technical training workshops taught by subject-matter experts and tailored to varying levels of experience (beginner to advanced).

Technical Workshop 2: Data Applications in Cultural Heritage

Thursday, January 27, 2021 | 11:00am PT, 2:00pm ET
Intermediate Level
Presenters:
Harry Abramson, Direct Dimensions, Owings Mills, Maryland

Description:

This webinar will review projects that cover a broad range of Cultural Heritage applications for 3D data. 3D Digitization offers a myriad of uses and technical choices. While there are no easy one-size-fits–all-solutions, the technology is only getting better and more accessible. Your use of “3D” should be driven by your organization’s goals, not by the technology itself. This presentation will help clarify when and how 3D can help.

Registration closes at 11:59pm PT on January 26.
Webinar will be streamed live on the Museum Learning Hub: Museum-Hub.org/Watch-Live.
