What does TMS stand for?
Anonymous2585
It's a collections management software, short for The Museum System. Similar to PastPerfect or other software applications used for collections metadata.

Awesome and interesting program. Thanks to all of you for putting on this program
Anonymous2588
Is there a specific type of affordable portable photo or document scanner that any of you would recommend?
Anonymous2610
How would you handle something like a pamphlet or sample book for digitization?
Sheree Mann
I helped with a project at a previous internship where I photographed 2D art, like paintings and objects. Some of them were in glass frames and I was told to not take them out of the glass to photograph but it made it EXTREMELY difficult to take photos without a glare! Any tips for that or is the answer to just take them out of the glass?
melissa_sainz (Fellow)
@Anonymous2588: Hi, I use PhotoScan and it's a free APP and so far I loved how the images come out.
melissa_sainz (Fellow)
@Anonymous2588: https://www.google.com/photos/scan/ here's the link if you would like to check it out

Once content is digitized what organizations do you contact, if any to help spread the word about the newly digitized items? Do you publish it in magazines or on social media? What does this process look like?
Anonymous2511
How would you go about starting to digitize with limited staff
Anonymous2579
Do you recommend a good resource for digitization standards, like file size, etc.?
Sheree Mann
Thank you!
Anonymous2491
@QuincyB: Are there any 'next steps' proposed for people to use the content you made accessible for art, or storytelling or further engagement etc (by staff or communities, individuals)
QuincyB
Thank you for all of your great questions! I am passing them along to the presenters
